I really like the design of "Silence" and I really like the way you've laid everything out on the page. I think maybe the colour of the text at the bottom of the page could be a bit brighter so its easier to read against the black. Well done though! =)
Your front cover is excellent because of your text and your picture. The picture itself seems very professional, and although an instrument in many images may not look appropriate, it looks great in this image and contributes to the overall effect. Your edited title is relevant to the musical genre and makes it clear straight away what your magazine contains. The use of smaller images adds interest and colour to the magazine and the main subject heading is brilliant with its varied styles. Perhaps you could edit one of the smaller images to add variety? A really great magazine :)
Hey,
the front cover looks really professional and the picture is really really good. It is well lit and just looks generally like something you would see in a music magazine. The fonts are also very good as they are simple and consistent colourwise.
Only problem I could find with it is that maybe some of the secondary pictures aren't to well lit or positioned - and maybe an extra photo-shoot to just get 1 or 2 more better pics would make this perfect.

I'll basically type the compliments I gave you the other day about your cover. Love the photo, the masthead, the choice of fonts, the choice of colours and the photos/poster idea. This has such a distinctive house style, you can see how much attention to detail you have put in and that is why it is so amazing. I love the signature-esque font for his name. Brilliant.
Yo, lovin the cover :D I really like your title with "Anything But" in small above it and then "SILENCE" in big, it is really effective. Nice editing with Sam and the guitar over the title too. The sketch type font is nice and easy to read and actually looks like it's been written on the wall, very nicely done. And also I think the border of text such as "TOP 10 SONGS OF THE DECADE" is really unique slanted in the way you have composed it. Nice one :) Good luck with your magazine!
